The group also called on Governor Diri’s supporters to stop disrespecting Dickson and show him the respect he deserves.

The statement added, “Governor Diri should distance himself from sycophants. These individuals won’t remind him of how Senator Dickson consistently appointed him to key government positions, such as Deputy Chief of Staff, and supported him in becoming a House of Representatives member and senator.”

The group further demanded an end to the betrayal and criticism of Senator Dickson, who remains a strong advocate for the Niger Delta in the Senate. They also called for a restoration of the close relationship that led Dickson to choose Diri for positions of power.

“It is dishonorable for the state’s oldest governor to be perceived as deceitful, betraying, arrogant, and greedy, lacking the vision expected of a leader.” CONTINUE READING>>>

The group concluded by warning that one cannot abandon, humiliate, or undermine those who helped them rise politically without facing the consequences of such actions eventually.
