Bola Tinubu: We’ve Endured 15 Years of Hell in This Country “Enough Is Enough”

During his speech on Thursday at the inaugural international lecture hosted by the News Agency of Nigeria, Tinubu made it clear that his administration would no longer tolerate the actions of these criminal groups.

As reported by Punch, the President, represented by National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to eradicating terrorists, bandits, and other non-state actors that have plagued the nation for years.

Tinubu stressed that both military (kinetic) and non-military (non-kinetic) approaches are being employed to tackle the rising insecurity in Nigeria.

He expressed deep concern over the devastating effects of terrorist and bandit activities on Nigeria’s economy and social life.

For more than 15 years, Nigeria has been grappling with insecurity that has disrupted key sectors such as commerce, education, healthcare, and transportation.

The President’s remarks highlight the gravity of the situation and the government’s determination to restore peace and stability.

In his speech, Tinubu strongly stated, “These cowards, bandits, kidnappers, and extremists—we’re coming for you. Enough is enough. For 15 years, this country has endured suffering at the hands of these criminals. They’ve done as they please.”

“They continue to disrupt our lives, affecting business, education, healthcare, and transportation. This must end, and it will end.”
