JUST IN: IPOB Warns Igbo Youths to Avoid Nigerian Army Recruitment or Face Consequences

In a statement released on Saturday by IPOB’s spokesperson, Emma Powerful, the group emphasized its opposition to Igbo youths joining the Nigerian Army, claiming the institution harbors no goodwill towards Ndigbo and Biafrans.

“The Nigerian State is not for Ndigbo and Biafrans,” the statement declared, adding that it would be dangerous for any Igbo individual to enlist in an organization whose objectives allegedly include harming their community.

Drawing parallels to previous calls for Biafran youths to avoid military involvement in international conflicts, the statement further advised youths to reject the current Nigerian Army recruitment, which it described as nepotistic. Continue Reading>>>
