Abiola’s Children in Dispute Over £650,000 Inheritance, Vow Never to Forgive Kola

Abdulmumuni Abiola, one of the sons of the late Chief MKO Abiola, has declared that he will never forgive his older brother, Kola Abiola. CONTINUE READING>>>

He accused Kola of withholding the inheritance that their father left for his children, even after conducting blood tests to confirm family ties.

According to Abdulmumuni, MKO Abiola had allocated £650,000 to his first four wives in his will, but Kola had refused to distribute the money to them. Speaking on the ‘Mic On Podcast’ hosted by Seun Okinbaloye, Abdulmumuni explained the background of the dispute.

He said, “We underwent blood tests to identify the legitimate children. If you read the will, it clearly outlines which wives were to receive the money, and how much was assigned to each of them.”

Abdulmumuni went on to explain that his mother, Kudirat Olayinka Abiola, was the second wife and was entitled to £150,000. However, Kola argued that since their mother passed away before their father, British law prevented him from releasing the money to them.

Kola also mentioned that his own mother had passed away, and he did not receive the £300,000 that had been allocated to her. However, Abdulmumuni found this explanation odd, pointing out that Kola, as the one handling the distribution, could have released the money if he wanted to. CONTINUE READING>>>

Additionally, Abdulmumuni revealed that Kola had secretly sold their mother’s apartment in the UK without informing him or his siblings. He felt this was part of a deliberate attempt to deprive their mother’s side of the family of their rightful share of the inheritance.

Because of these actions, Abdulmumuni expressed that he may never be able to forgive Kola for how he handled the family’s inheritance.
