Imo Police Mobilize Security Forces in Response to Alleged IPOB Sit-at-Home Order for Public Safety

ASP Henry Okoye, the Public Relations Officer of the Command, issued a statement explaining that the Police, alongside other security forces, are conducting ‘Show of Force Operations and Confidence Building Patrols’ throughout the state to address the alleged IPOB threat. The Police Command labeled the sit-at-home order as illegal, urging residents to continue their daily routines without fear or disruption.

Starting from October 19 and continuing until October 23, increased visibility patrols will be carried out by security personnel across the state. The Command encouraged citizens to stay calm, remain vigilant, and go about their regular activities while being mindful of their surroundings and potential threats.
