The victim has been identified as 23-year-old Miss Precious Yusuf, according to a statement from the state police spokesperson, SP Bright Edafe.The investigation showed that Yusuf had informed a friend on October 22, 2024, that she was planning to meet someone she had recently met online in the Coka area.

The next day, Yusuf contacted the same friend, saying she was on her way home, but she was not heard from again.“On October 24, 2024, at around 8:40 a.m., a distress call reported the discovery of a young woman’s body on DLA Road, across from Falcon Club,” Edafe said. Continue Reading>>>

Police officers responded to the scene, where they confirmed the woman’s identity.Her body has been taken to the morgue for an autopsy, and Delta State Commissioner of Police, Olufemi Abaniwonda, has pledged to ensure justice for her.
