However, they later claimed that they had not actually joined the APC and alleged that the video showing them with the flags was manipulated.During a live broadcast on Symfoni TV, Briggs questioned how the 27 lawmakers could deny their actions after being captured on video with APC flags. She pointed out that the video’s authenticity could be scientifically verified, indicating that experts could easily confirm their identities in the footage.

Briggs remarked, “How can they claim they didn’t defect when they were clearly seen waving APC flags? Are they suggesting that their heads were superimposed on someone else’s body? They should be aware that these things can be scientifically measured. Experts can even trace their shoes to confirm it was them waving that flag.”
