EFCC Declares Emefiele's Wife Margaret and Three Others Wanted

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Declares Margaret Emefiele and Three Others Wanted for Allegedly Conspiring with Former CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele to Embezzle Large Sums of Money from the Apex Bank

The EFCC displayed the mugshots of the four suspects and wrote their offences on its social media handles late Friday.

Others declared wanted are Eric Ocheme Odoh, Anita Joy Omoile and Jonathan Omoile

“The quartet of Eric Ocheme Odoh, Margaret Dumbiri Emefiele, Anita Joy Omoile and Jonathan Omoile are wanted by the EFCC for offences bothering on economic and financial crimes. Any information on their whereabout? Please contact the nearest EFCC Command or the nearest Police Station,” the commission wrote.

The commission added: “The public is hereby notified that persons, whose photographs appear above (mugshots) are wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for allegedly conspiring with a former Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele to convert huge sums of money belonging to the Federal Government of Nigeria and committed felony to wit: Obtaining money by false pretences and stealing contrary to and punishable under sections 411, 287 and 314 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State.”
