Military Forces Liberate 35 Abductees in Katsina, Eliminate Two Terrorists

Nigerian Army’s Joint Task Force in the North West, Operation Hadarin Daji (OPHD), successfully rescues 35 kidnapped victims in Katsina State.

He reported that during search and rescue clearance operations, the troops successfully neutralized two terrorists.

“The success was achieved on Jan. 27, during clearance operation to some identified terrorist camps at Dumburum forest.

“During the operation troops had an encounter with the armed terrorists, neutralised two of them while others escaped with severe gunshot wounds.

“All the rescued victims were handed over to the Katsina State Government by the Nigerian Army,” he said.
