He announced that the campaign was an attempt not only to defraud unsuspecting members of the public but also to discredit the governor ahead of next Saturday’s vote.

The state government says advertising is the job of opponents of the governor, who realize they cannot beat him on the ballot.

According to Somorin, Governor Abiodun will never directly or indirectly engage in vote-buying or solicit voters with any material motive to secure their vote.

He added that such a well-funded financial incentive could not come from a governor who delivered on his campaign promises by changing the socioeconomic and development landscape of the state. The statement added that Governor Abiodun, instead of receiving the votes of the people, embarked on political campaigns to present his transcripts, commission top projects, and solicit votes for all All Progressives Congress (APC) congressional candidates and for his re-election.

“I want our people to skip the “Vote Dapo Abiodun, Ask for N20,000″ promotion that is being played on several social media platforms. It never came from Governor Abiodun or his campaign organization. He will never participate, directly or indirectly, in vote-buying. Such advertising is a calculated attempt to put myself in a bad position and scam people ahead of Saturday’s vote by people who are afraid of our records. ” “This is clearly the work of my political opponents and the 419ers.”

“Governor Abiodun is not an apostle of vote-buying or any other inducement to get votes; that’s all the more reason for him to wholeheartedly endorse good governance and bring Bang Ogun to become the best state in terms of socio-economic development in the country.” So I would like to urge our people to go out next Saturday to vote for me and all the APC candidates. The governor has promised that his second term will bring many benefits. “By becoming more democratic, this will change the lives of our people.”
