Agent suggests Koeman’s stay at Camp Nou
Ronald Koeman will likely continue as a Barca coach, at least for another year, after his agent Rob Jansen gives his suggestion on the Dutchman’s situation at Camp Nou. Koeman and Laporta had a meeting yesterday in which they discussed some issues after an unconvincing season. It seems the meeting went well and Jansen has suggested that Koeman will stay for another season.

A low-cost defender linked with Camp Nou move
With Robin Gosens expected to cost a lot of money if Barca were to sign him, there are other low-cost options being considered by the Spanish club. One of them is Owen Winjdal from AZ Alkmaar in Netherlands. The 21-year old recently got included in the Netherlands’ squad for the EURO 2020 due to his impressive performance. He won’t cost Barca a lot of money and the deal could also be possible since his agent Mino Raiola has a close connection with Joan Laporta.

Wijnaldum deal confirmed
Gini Wijnaldum has agreed to join Barca on a free transfer ahead of next season after accepting a lower salary. According to report, he will sign a contract in the next few days which will keep him at the Spanish club until June 2024.
Barca and Juve could commence another swap deal
Juventus defender Matthijs de Ligt is reportedly unhappy at the Italian club and would like to move to Barca. The Catalans are also interested in getting the 21-year old to strengthen their defence next season. They could therefore use players like Miralem Pjanic, Antoine Griezmann and Ousmane Dembele in a swap deal to get the defender.

Barca interested in EPL left-back who is set to become a free agent
Signing players on free transfers has recently been the major transfer idea at Barca. With deals like that of Sergio Aguero and Eric Garcia probably sealed, a move for another free agent is being plotted by Barca. That player is Crystal Palace’s Patrick van Aanholt. There is a need to find competitions for Jordi Alba in the left-back position and Ronald Koeman supports a move for the 30-year old.

Ter Stegen to remain at Barca
Due to the fact that Barca can sign Gianliugi Donnarumma for free this summer, there have been reports that Marc-Andre ter Stegen will be placed on the transfer market. But such reports have now been dismissed. Ter Stegen will continue at Barca and he is not thinking about leaving. Barca haven’t told him him about selling him either.
