Naira Marley Reacts To Mohbad’s Claim Of Being Harassed At Marlian Records

The Marlian records owner Naira Marley debunked Mohbad’s allegation of being harassed by the label.

Nigerian singer, rapper and music executive, Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, has reacted to his signee Mohbad‘s claim of being harassed by members of Marlian Records.

Mohbad took to Twitter on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, to share videos that showed him with some body wounds, claiming that he was beaten because he tried to change his manager, who was “their brother”.

Responding to the video which has circulated on the internet, Naira Marley went on Instagram live the same day to debunk the allegations made by Mohbad, claiming that the rapper was involved in a fight in which he (Naira Marley) tried to calm the situation.

The Marlian Records boss, who insinuated that Mohbad might have been under the influence, also made it known that Mohbad is not managed by his brother like he claimed online and revealed that the rapper had already changed his manager.

To make things clear, Naira Marley also put out a tweet, claiming that Mohbad has an history of getting intoxicated which affects his emotions and actions. He wrote:

Mohbad has a history of getting intoxicated which affects his emotions and actions. #ImNotPerfect However, all issues would be resolved amicably within the record label.

In an update of events, Mohbad has also reacted to the live video, stating that his label boss was lying. He went on to state that he is in his right mind and that his life is being severely threatened. He wrote:

Everything he said on the live video is a blatant lie. This isn’t the first time. The last video was made out to look like I was high or overreacting. My life is being severely threatened.

I’m not intoxicated but I’ve just been diagnosed as an emergency hypertensive patient. I’m not on drugs or drinks and my life is at stake. I’m still getting threats.

I’m at the hospital for a CT Scan for head impact and chest X-ray as a result of the assault. I had the meeting clearheaded and without any drug influence too.
