When inviting Kashim Shettima, the vice president-elect, to a Sallah lunch at the Government House in Maiduguri on Friday, Governor Zulum gave a speech.

“It is one of my greatest joys that HE Senator Kashim Shettima is here today and waiting to be sworn in as the Vice President-elect of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Ever since I was inaugurated as governor in 2019, it has been one of my prayers.

“On another occasion, President Buhari bemoaned that no one is helping as much as they ought to in resolving the issues in Borno State. This has been one of my nightmares.
