In his tweets, he said he is a lawyer and a democrat, and that he never denied the fact that Tinubu is president-elect. A friend of his from the Asiwaju camp sent him a direct message saying, “Tinubu is your president-elect whether you like it or not.” “The presumption of law is in his favor for having been declared the winner until he proves it by the Tribunal or Supreme Court,” he stated.

In a tweet, he wrote, “A friend of mine from the Asiwaju camp sent me a DM saying “Tinubu is your president-elect whether you like it or not.” I never denied that; I am a lawyer and a democrat. Secondly, I am on good terms with Tinubu and his “reasonable” associates.
