Wike – “When I Told Tinubu To Join PDP, Support Atiku For President, He Said 1 Thing I’ll Never Forget”

The governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, claimed that Bola Tinubu, the president-elect, told him something in 2018 that he would never forget when the PDP requested that he go talk to him about quitting the ruling party at the time when Bola Tinubu was receiving criticism from them.  CONTINUE READING>>>

Wike reportedly added that when he urged Bola Tinubu to endorse their presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, the president-elect said that he was not going to do so because he was unqualified to lead and that he would instead chose Buhari over him.

This is according to Channels Television. Wike was giving a speech at a state dinner held in the president-elect’s honour.

Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the president-elect, allegedly told Wike that he would choose President Buhari over Atiku 200 times over. In order to gain Wike’s respect and ensure that he would remember what he said, Tinubu went on to explain why Buhari was better than the PDP candidate at the moment.

He stated, “Tinubu said one thing I’ll never forget when I encouraged him to join PDP and support Atiku for president. I was assigned to find him and ask him how to join us. I approached him and said, “Sir, I’ve heard you’re having trouble regaining your footing in APC.” CONTINUE READING>>>
