Mr. Datti emphasised that his determination to not debate Soyinka was removed from cowardly and was as a substitute cultural and political in an announcement launched by his media workplace on Saturday, April 8, 2023.

As a substitute, he prompt that Mr. Soyinka make the most of his place to steer Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, to have interaction in a debate with him. 

Datti’s look on Politics Right now sparked the dialog between Soyinka and Datti. He voiced his disappointment with how the overall election on February 25 had been dealt with and with the result that INEC had introduced.
