The Director of the New Media sub-committee of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council, Femi Fani Kayode has reacted to the planned protest by the Peoples Democratic Party in Abuja today.

Recall that the electoral umpire had announced the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the winner of the recently conducted presidential poll.

Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a former Governor of Lagos State and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress defeated other strong contenders in the race including Peter Obi of the Labour Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party.

Former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi and former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar have vowed to challenge the results of the presidential election declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)

Reacting after Senator Dino Melaye announced that there will be a protest in Abuja today, Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Minister of Aviation said the protest march by the Peoples Democratic Party scheduled for tomorrow in Abuja is a dangerous precursor to something more sinister.
