The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has yet to make a statement on the matter, but there are concerns that the alleged electoral malpractice could undermine the credibility of the elections and the democratic process in Nigeria.

Observers from various civil society groups have also expressed concerns about the conduct of the elections, with some describing them as marred by irregularities and violence.

The outcome of the presidential and national assembly elections in Rivers State is seen as crucial, as the state is one of the largest in the country and has a significant influence on national politics.

The results of the elections are expected to be announced by INEC in the coming days, and it remains to be seen whether the demands for the cancellation of the results will be heeded.
