The incident occurred at Amechi Awkunanaw, Enugu South Local Authorities Area on Wednesday night.

The governorship candidate of the Labour Party, Chijioke Edeoga, who confirmed the incident to Punch, mentioned that the gunmen shot him inside his automobile with 5 different individuals with him and set the automotive ablaze.
