BREAKING: Odumeje Replies Tinubu After He Said Those Who Didn’t Vote For Him Are Disappointed That He Won

In the aftermath of the recently concluded 2023 Nigerian presidential election, there has been much discussion about the conduct of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and allegations of electoral fraud. Particularly contentious was the victory speech by the declared winner, Bola Tinubu.

In response to Tinubu’s remarks, Prophet Chukwuemeka Odumeje, General Overseer of the Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention Deliverance Ministries, took to his church’s official Twitter account to speak out against the Nigerian government’s alleged support of Tinubu in the election.

Odumeje stated that there were numerous instances of electoral fraud, with videos circulating showing voters being turned away or having their votes invalidated. He also criticized Tinubu’s acceptance speech, in which the winner acknowledged that many Nigerians did not vote for him or support him.

“It is not you but rather our government that is at fault here,” Odumeje commented. “We hoped that by this time, we would have started putting things right here at home. Our shortcomings are being celebrated instead. Those who delight in our anguish will feel God’s vengeance.”
