Emefiele has contacted a military commander in Lagos to help Labour Party win on Saturday – Source Reveals

According to a news that was published by The Nation Newspaper online this morning, it was reported that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Godwin Emefiele, is already playing his last car in the closing chapter of the high-stake power-play that has embroiled Nigeria in the past six months.

However, in order to perfect his plot against the APC in Lagos and against Bola Tinubu, the cooperation of a senior military officer in command position in Lagos State, is said to have been secured by Emefiele.

A source, who spoke under the condition of anonymity, said that the commander, is expected to provide military muscle to the CBN Governor’s agenda against APC, to take over Lagos.

The same military commander, was said to have similarly played a ‘spoiler role’ during the February 25th presidential election by deliberately deploying troops to provide cover for the massive rigging in Ajah, Lekki areas in favour of Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

The source said, “Emefiele has contacted a military commander in Lagos to help Labour Party win on Saturday. This commander also allegedly provided cover.for the massive rigging that was reported in Amuwo-Odofin, Ojo, Alaba and Iba areas of the state.

For instance, troops at his behest, detained the Oniba of Ibaland inside his palace, ostensibly to prevent him from being able to mobilise his people to vote for Bola Tinubu. Troops similarly invaded the palace of Elegushi in Ikateland and openly brutalised APC supporters in viral videos. Oba Saheed Elegushi is known to be a staunch Tinubu supporter.”
