During hearing yesterday, the court refused Peter Obi’s request and ordered that the INEC should go ahead with the reconfiguration of the electoral machines.
However, while Festus Keyamo, who happens to be the minister of State, Labour and Employment and the spokesperson to the former presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, was reacting to this yesterday evening, he mocked Peter Obi, as he said that the law does not follow social media trends because, law is not emotional and nobody can stampede the judiciary by blackmail.
He said, “You cannot stampede the judiciary by blackmail. Law does not follow trends on Social Media, mostly uninformed and illiterate. Law is not emotions. Law is law. INEC: 1 – 0 Peter Obi”
