Mixed Reactions As APC Score Same Result From Two Different Local Govt. In Bauchi Presidential Election

As Independent National Electoral Commission releases more results from the ongoing Presidential and National Assembly elections across the country, members of public have continued to question some of the results released so far. CONTINUE READING

Most of the questions are coming from supporters of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi who believe that heavy manipulation has taken place between the polling units where votes were cast and the collation centre where all results are collated and announced.

The latest of the controversy is that of Bauch state where result from two different local government areas of the state are the same.

According to the result published by Channels TV; while 11,862 was recorded for the All Progressive Congress in Warji Local government, same number was recorded in Bauchi Local government of the state for the presidential election.

Some Labour Party supporters who reacted to the unusual results claimed that what they recorded for their party does not tally with results they have from different polling units before being collated at the state collation center.
