INEC Ban negligent employees from next election

INEC chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu has stated that all INEC employees who were found to be negligent in the February election have been banned and would be replaced before the March 11 elections.

“RECs must also immediately initiate disciplinary action where prima facie evidence of wrongdoing has been established,” he said

He further stated that BVARS will also be deployed for voter accreditation and result management.

Igbo communities endorse PDP candidate

With the March 11 elections getting closer, The Council of Eze Ndigbo in Lagos State has endorsed the PDP governorship candidate in the state, Abdul-Azeez Adediran also known as Jandor.

Speaking at an occasion, the Eze Ndigbo, David Nwosu spoke on behalf of the council in the Oshodi-Isolo Area and affirmed the Council’s support for Adediran. He said the result of the February election will not affect the March 11 elections.

20 SANs line up for Obi, APC may hire 12

About 20 SANs in Nigeria have been engaged by Labour Party to challenge the outcome of the February 25 election in Court. The Lawyers have been drawn from different chambers and have been given materials that would be used as evidence in court.

However, according to Tinubu-shettima Presidential Campaign Council, Festus Keyamo, the APC legal directorate have put together 12 SANs to defend his principal in the alleged case of rigging and stolen mandate.
