Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid
Barcelona and Atletico Madrid both played out a disappointing draw at the Camp nou stadium on Saturday.
The Catalans were unable to break through Diego Simeone’s side who also went close to finding the back of the net themselves on a couple of occasions. In the end, both sides would have to settle for a point apiece.
Valencia vs Real Valladolid
Valencia all but confirmed their place in La liga ahead of next season with a stunning win over Real Valladolid yesterday at the Estadio Mestella staduim.
The home side scored late in the first half, before tripling their lead with two more goals in the second half of the game to secure a 3-0 win.
Villarreal vs Celta Vigo
Villarreal hopes of securing an Europa league spot ahead of next season took a huge blow after to stunning loss to Celta Vigo at home as Unai Emery’s men were defeated 4-2 in their own backyard.
Real Madrid vs Sevilla
Real Madrid failed to take advantage of Barcelona’s draw with Atletico Madrid on Saturday when they played against Seville on Sunday evening.
Zinedine Zidane’s men fell to an early goal by Fernando in the first half, but Marco Asensio pulled the home side level in the second half of the game before Sevilla pulled themselves in front again through Ivan Rakitic’s penalty. The home side would dig deep in the second half and they got their reward after Toni Kroos’s way ward shot was deflected in by Eden Hazard to earn the reigning la liga champions a 2-2 draw in the game.

Atletico Madrid still maintain their place at the top of the table following their draw against Barcelona on Saturday.
Real Madrid’s draw meant they moved back into second place level on points with Barcelona, but with a superior head to head above their rivals who are third on the log with Sevilla coming in behind in 4th place.
