Atletico Madrid joined Barcelona & Real Madrid in the race for the title and has challenged them very well.

At a point, they had a very healthy lead over both clubs, but a series of bad performance saw them squander their massive lead.

With four matches to go, the title is still very much undecided and may go down to the last day of the season.

Atletico Madrid currently leads the table with two points above Real Madrid and Barca who are tied on points in second and third respectively.

Here is how the La Liga table looks going into the weekend matches.

There will also be some league deciding matches this weekend that as Barcelona will play Atletico Madrid, while Real Madrid plays 4th place Sevilla.

It’s going to be a nervy one going into the last matches for the trio of Barca, Real Madrid & Atletico Madrid. Whoever shows enough consistency will eventually be crowned champions.
