Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje has said that he is uncertain which political party he will hand over to after his tenure. He emphasized that it is normal for a government to inherit projects, complete some, and leave others for the incoming administration.

Recently, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared the NNPP’s Abba Yusuf as the winner of the 2023 governorship election in Kano State. However, the APC is currently disputing the results of the election in court. It remains to be seen which party Ganduje will hand over to, but he assures that he will uphold the interest of the state regardless of his political affiliation.
