The arrest took place after his nephew, Faruk, discovered his blood-covered grandmother in their small apartment at No. 2 Raji Ajanaku Street, Alaja Road, Ayobo, Lagos, and raised the alarm.

The vigilante group swiftly apprehended the suspect, who was then subjected to severe physical assault before being handed over to the police for further investigation.
