Emphasizing his personal loyalty to Tinubu, Alhaji Asari Mujahid Dokubo revealed that he had risked his life for him. In light of this, he insisted that the position of the Senate presidency should be given to someone from the Southeast.

Alhaji Asari Mujahid Dokubo went on to claim that individuals from the Southeast were currently involved in activities that could destabilize the country. He argued that placing a reliable figure, whom he referred to as a “pillar,” in that region would serve as a unifying force and counteract potential unrest.

Finally, Alhaji Asari Mujahid Dokubo appealed to those aspiring for the Senate presidency, urging them to prioritize the interests of the nation over their personal ambitions.
