Wike said, “When I hear people declare for the APC, they say they want to continue Mr. President’s good work—the good work of people dying every day and the good work of the naira falling every day. I am ashamed when people say they want to continue Buhari’s good work. What is Buhari’s good work?

“Is it famine, poverty, or insecurity? I’m not sure what they’re talking about when they say they’re doing good work. May God forgive them, and may he never allow them to continue”.

Wike’s statement might have come as a surprise to many because several reports have stated that he is secretly backing Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress candidate in the presidential elections, so him making these remarks at this moment will confuse people even more on whom he is supporting in today’s presidential election.
