The Nigerian leader who won the 2023 presidential election failed to mention his counterparts who came second and third respectively.

Speaking in an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today, the legal practitioner wondered why the President could talk about democracy and the fight for democracy in Nigeria without mentioning the Aminu Waziri of Adamawa. 

According to him, it was the PDP presidential candidate who stepped down for MKO Abiola in the party primaries in the June 12, 1993 presidential election, adding that the act alone booster the democratic process in the country. Continue Full Reading>>>

He also said the unprecedented move of the former Governor of Anambra State becoming a third force in Nigerian politics also contributed to democratic fight in the nation, adding that there have been several efforts to form a third force that were not successful but the Anambra-born politician came and secured votes in the presidential election in regions dominated by his opponents.

He said, “He didn’t say anything about the EndSARS. The EndSARS was a struggle of young people. These are acts and moves that entrench democracy.
