Abe alleged that the same individuals who stoned him while seeking support for then-presidential candidate Muhammadu Buhari were present at a dinner hosted by the state government in honor of the former governor of Lagos State, Bola Tinubu.

Tinubu was in Rivers State to inaugurate a few projects on Governor Nyesom Wike’s invitation during the week, according to the report. In a statement shared on his Facebook page on Thursday, Abe claimed that violence had been unleashed on the Rivers people and that Tinubu was aware of it because he had been a victim of such attacks in the past.
