Oyalowo: BAT Did Not Become President By Chance; Some Presidents Became President Because Someone Died

During an interview with Arise News, Ayo Oyalowo, a member of the APC, stated that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu did not become the president of Nigeria by accident but because he’s been the most prepared since 1999. CONTINUE READING>>>

He added that some presidents were opportune to get there because somebody died, while others only got there because they wanted to get there.

He commended the effort of his administration on how they handled the issue of the National Labour Congress, which wanted to go on strike due to the fuel subsidy removal. Oyalowo stated that the government carried them along by being transparent with them.

We’ve had some who were born from prison unprepared; we’ve had the ones forced on us who were not feeling well; we’ve had the ones who got there because somebody died; and we’ve had the ones who got there because they just wanted to be there, but for the first time we’re having a president who actually wanted to be a president, and he’s preparing for this day, and we can see his depth of handling of situations in the last nine days that he has become president.

He has proven to Nigerians that he’s not just handsome; he knows what it takes to do what needs to be done to fix whatever situation we find ourselves in.
