Sen. Ahmad Lawan Congratulates Tinubu, Shettima Over Victory In Presidential Election

Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the President-elect, and Kashim Shettima, the Vice President-elect, have received congratulations from Ahmad Lawan, the President of the Senate.

Lawan said in a statement on Wednesday that the victory reaffirmed the public’s confidence in the APC and its candidates.

He went on to say, “This victory confirms the confidence of the Nigerian people in our great party, the APC, and its candidates.” However, it also presents a challenge for us to maintain Nigeria’s progressive development in accordance with our party’s agenda.
