Atiku sends message to Peter Obi.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), candidate in the just concluded presidential election has admitted that his Labour Party counterpart, Peter Obi took their votes in the South-east, South-south.

Atiku, who spoke while addressing the press in Abuja on Thursday, asserted that the votes Obi garnered from the two geo-political regions cannot make him a president of the country.

The former vice president called on Obi to dialogue with PDP on how to reclaim the victory from the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

Accept Tinubu’s victory as a will of God – Aisha Buhari.

Aisha Buhari, wife of the president, has asked Nigerians to keep diversity and interest aside and accept the victory of Bola Tinubu, the president-elect, as the will of God.

NAN reports that Aisha spoke on Thursday when she received Oluremi Tinubu and Nana Shettima, wives of the president-elect and vice-president at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

She said Tinubu’s victory in the election was a triumph for all Nigerians, assuring that he would not betray the citizens.

IPAC elders forum in Oyo rally support for Makinde’s re-election.

The Inter-Party Advisory Council Elders’ Forum in Oyo State has committed itself to work day and night for the reelection of governor Seyi Makinde.

Addressing journalists in Ibadan, the chairman of the forum, Mr Kolawole Ibrahim said the forum comprises 35 political parties whose structures would be mobilised for Makinde to win the March 11 election.

Kolawole said the forum decided to have progressive governance in the State led by governor Seyi Makinde.

Supplementary Elections To Hold After Guber, Assembly Polls – INEC.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) says it will conduct supplementary polls after the governorship and state house of assembly elections.

Guber and assembly elections will take place next weekend, two weeks after the conduct of the presidential and National Assembly polls.
