“We Make Sure Tinubu Won Peter Obi In Ikorodu LGA, Pay Us Our Money” – Lagos APC Supporters Protest

Amid the controversial outcome of the presidential election, a group of APC supporters in Ikorodu Local Government Area of Lagos State have taken to the street to stage a protest over an alleged non-payment of ‘election allowances’ by the APC leadership in Lagos.

The protesters also revealed that they will boycott the upcoming gubernatorial election in the local government area if they are settled before then. A video of the protesters have been trending online.

Recall that during the last election, despite the fact that the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi won in Lagos state by total votes, he was defeated in Ikorodu Local Government Area where Bola Tinubu came first. Peter Obi had 28,951 votes while Bola Tinubu had 50,353 votes from Ikorodu.
