PDP Paid Voters N1,500 To Support For Atiku And Reduced Peter Obi’s Vote To 341,000 In Delta – Okolugbo

The House of Representatives candidate of the Accord Party in Delta state, Kenny Okolugbo has revealed that in the just concluded presidential election in Delta state, voters were allegedly given N1,500 to vote for its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar and the total votes of the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi was reduced to 341,000.

Okolugbo revealed that Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state all because Delta state is their stronghold were paying voters N1,500 on the day of elections and they also used their power to reduce Peter Obi’s total votes to 341,000 in the state.

He said, “They reduced the vote of Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi’s in Delta state. I must tell you the truth, he did more than 341,000 in the state and you don’t rig if you are not popular. But what happened was that the rigging was done in places where people were less, not because they were popular.

The presiding officers will tell you they don’t have the codes to upload votes and this cash thing was another factor because there was a commissioner from this area who had cash and we didn’t know where he got the cash from.

Most of us were paying our agents through transfers and people were voting and they were given a thousand, five hundred naira (N1500). And PDP did it shamelessly”.
