Arteta Provides Latest Updates on Thomas Partey and Gabriel Jesus' Injuries

Mikel Arteta in his pre-match press conference has confirmed if both Thomas Partey and Gabriel Jesus will be available for Arsenal ahead of the Premier League fixture against Sheffield Uni9ted.

The press conference saw Mikel Arteta speak on the players making a return from injury and those that still remain out of the squad due to one injury or the other.

Thomas Partey injury news

Mikel Arteta confirmed that Thomas Partey who missed AFCON 2023 for Ghana would be making his return to the squad and would be available for selection on Monday, March 4, 2024.

Arteta provided an update on the fitness status of Thomas Partey, indicating that the midfielder has completed a few training sessions with the team and could be available for selection in their upcoming match this weekend.

Partey, who joined Arsenal from Atletico Madrid in the summer, has had a stop-start 2023/2024 season so far, featuring in only four league games due to multiple injury setbacks. Despite this, Arsenal is keen to keep the Ghanaian at the club and hopes he can make a significant contribution in their quest for the title this season.
