Enzo Fernandez’s agent addresses rumors of his departure from Chelsea

One of Chelsea’s recent signings amid Todd Boehly’s ownership has made headlines for purportedly seeking an exit from Stamford Bridge amidst the club’s poor form.

The player’s agent, Uriel Perez has broken his silence regarding the speculation surrounding his player’s potential departure from Chelsea. He denied the reports while speaking in an interview with ESPN, stating that he did not know where the story emanated from but he knows that Fernandes is committed to the London club.

“I really don’t understand why reports came out of nowhere about Enzo planning to leave Chelsea. We know the plan of the club, the plan of the owners. He’s happy and wants to stay”,

Fernandez also sent a message to the club when he scored a fantastic free-kick against Aston Villa in the FA Cup replay match. He celebrated in front of the Chelsea supporters with the gesture that he was going to remain at the club.
