Simi reveals how she discovered her eyesight was deteriorating

Simi revealed that she noticed that after the birth of her daughter Adejare, she began to notice that her eyesight was deteriorating.
Popular Nigerian Singer Simi, who is married to fellow superstar Adekunle Gold, took to social media to share some of the effects her pregnancy had on her body even three years after the fact.

The singer said that she noticed that after the birth of her daughter Adejare, she began to notice that her eyesight was deteriorating. Though she claimed that she was almost sure that her eyesight was 20/20 before the pregnancy, she began to notice that she was basically seeing double at some point and went to get her eyes checked in a hospital.

The doctors concluded during her visit three months back that she would need glasses to aid her vision from then on and she even mentioned that she has been notified that the glasses were ready for her to pick up.

In her words, Simi said:
“I have a little bit of sob story, my daughter is 3 years old. Since I gave birth to her, my eyes have not been the same. I feel like I had 20/20 vision before I got pregnant, well not anymore. My eyesight has gone on an excursion underground.

“Three months ago, I was like something is not tallying here, it’s like I’m seeing double. So I went for an eye scan and the Doctor said that I need glasses, I got a message a few days ago that my glasses are ready”

Simi is not going to be the first to suffer this sort of side-effect of being pregnant, in fact, there is an ongoing discourse on the various ways that the female body changes after going through pregnancy. In all of this, Simi is still going on tour in the US as a special guest act for Alicia Keys on her Keys To The City tour.
