Jamiu Abiola: If It Wasn't Free And Fair, I Don't Think Each Of Them Would Have Won 12 States

Following the outcome of the 2023 presidential election, the son of MKO Abiola, Jamiu Abiola has opined that the presidential election was not rigged because if it was rigged, each of the top candidates, Peter Obi, Atiku Abubakar and Ahmed Tinubu would not have won 12 states each. According to Jamiu Abiola, the election was keenly contested as each of the top candidates won 12 states each. He also stressed that given the level of peace the country enjoys after the election, it shows that the election was free and fair.

Jamiu Abiola is a son to late MKO Abiola who reportedly won the election on 12th June 1993 but was annulled. Jamiu Abiola believes that president Tinubu is one of the persons who fought for democracy.

While reacting to the conduct of the 2023 presidential election, Jamiu Abiola stated “if it wasn’t free and fair, I don’t think each of the them would have win 12 states”
