He revealed that when people begin to see the way he operates as a president, they’ll see him as a statesman, not as a muslim or a Yoruba man.

He further stated that President Tinubu can carry on as a stateman with the kind of appointments and policies he makes, pointing out that his policies have built trust and confidence in the minds of the people.

If you look at his record as governor of Lagos State, quite frankly, nobody knew he was a Muslim, and I was in Lagos.

I thought I was involved in the June 12 elections as a presiding officer. I was teaching at UNILAG at that time.

“Anyone in Lagos who said he knew Bola Tinubu was a Muslim—not people like me—had no idea. Quite frankly, and if you look at the type of cabinet that he ran, So he can actually carry on as a statesman, first of all, by the kind of appointment that he makes. The geographical spread was more important in the record of competence for people who can perform.
