Okonjo-Iweala advised people to unwind while she spoke, saying the insults she endured for refraining from uploading photos of herself and Tinubu reveal the extent of division in our culture. She continued by explaining that she posts photos in the order that challengers or accompanying personnel submit them.

Okonjo-Iweala Responds to Criticism for Not Posting Photos with Tinubu

Some Nigerians attacked and heavily criticised Dr. Okonjo-Iweala earlier today for sharing images of herself and other international leaders on his Twitter account but omitting to put the president of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Some continued to accuse him of discriminating against him due to his origin in the south-western part of the country.

To advance our nation, we must love one another, regardless of our tribe or faith, just as Okonjo-Iweala just stated.
